Meeting notes template with decisions and next steps
Good meeting notes record what was decided and who does what next. This template has a line for attendees, a numbered list of decisions and a checklist of next steps with a name on each. Type during the meeting and send the PDF when it ends.

When to use it
Use it for weekly syncs, client calls, project reviews and any meeting where people leave with tasks. The readers are the attendees who want a reminder and the colleagues who could not join. Both groups skim, so the template puts decisions first and actions second, and leaves the discussion out unless you choose to add it.
What is inside
- A dated title and a prepared-by line with fill-in fields for your name and date.
- An attendees line and a numbered decisions list, so each decision can be referred to later.
- A next steps checklist with an owner before each task and boxes you can tick off.
Tips for a better document
- Record decisions as full sentences that make sense to someone who was not in the room. “Move the launch to 18 June” is clearer than “launch date discussed”.
- Send the notes the same day. The exported PDF has selectable text, so people can copy their tasks straight into their own to-do list.
