Work
Launch brief template for projects and product launches
A launch brief gets everyone to agree on what you are building before the work starts. This template gives you a short description, a goals list and a timeline table with phases, weeks and owners. Fill it in, pick a style and download a tidy one-page PDF.

When to use it
Write a brief at the start of a project, a campaign or a product launch, when the idea is clear enough to explain but nobody has committed to dates yet. Stakeholders, team leads and new joiners read it to learn the goal, the rough schedule and who owns each phase. One page is enough.
What is inside
- A prepared-by line with fill-in fields for your name and the date.
- A goals section with short bullet points you replace with your own targets.
- A timeline table with columns for phase, weeks and owner, ready to extend with more rows.
Tips for a better document
- Write each goal so someone could check it later. A date or a number beats a general intention.
- The template opens in the Clean style, which suits a one-page brief. Choose A4 or US Letter to match the paper your readers print on.
